The two collab for a new song on the Mean Girls soundtrack

Are Reneé Rapp and Megan Thee Stallion bringing fetch back with their new collaboration? They teamed up for “Not My Fault,” a new song for the upcoming Mean Girls film. 

From the top, we here the Cady Heron line, “You know what? It’s not my fault you’re like in love with me or something!”, vocied by Lindsay Lohan.

On her verse, Megan compares herself to the Mean Girls main antagonist, Regina George, portrayed by Rachel McAdams in the original. “Stick to the motherf**kin’ money like a stapler, stack like Jenga/ Any p**sy b**ch get stroke like a painter/ It’s funny how the mean girl open all the doors / But I been told y’all, I’m the Black Regina George,” she raps.

Mean Girls (2024 film) will premiere in New York City on January 8, 2024. It will be released on January 12 by Paramount Pictures to the entire United States.

This is the first single off the original soundtrack, which is also set to feature songs from the Broadway musical performed by cast members Rapp, Angourie Rice, Auli’i Cravalho, Avantika and more. The Mean Girls soundtrack will arrive on Jan. 12 via Interscope Records alongside the film.
