In an interview with Elle, Nicki called her album "fierce, fun, and unapologetic.”

She adds, “It’s probably the most excited I’ve been about an album release in a really long time. I’m happy that we’re not making my fans wait for another album, like I’ve done in the past.”

This first single, "Super Freaky Girl," was released on August 12, 2022. The song is produced by Dr. Luke, Malibu Babie, Vaughn Oliver, and Aaron Joseph.

"Last Time I Saw You" was released on September 1, 2023 as the album's second single.
