Taylor Swift Shows Kendrick Lamar Gratitude for Rerecording “Bad Blood”

Swift has been rerecording her first six albums for two years

It’s nothing but love and respect for Kendrick Lamar as fans get the deluxe edition of Taylor Swift’s rerecorded 1989 (Taylor’s Version) album. Since 2021, Taylor has been working to rerecord her first six albums. The masters to her catalog were sold in a multimillion-dollar deal in 2020.

While celebrating the rerelease of 1989, she took time to thank Kendrick Lamar for his contribution to the song and project.

She states, “Watching @kendricklamar create and record his verses on the Bad Blood remix was one of the most inspiring experiences of my life. I still look back on this collaboration with so much pride and gratitude, for the ways Kendrick elevated the song and the way he treats everyone around him.”

"I’m overjoyed to say that the Bad Blood Remix (featuring Kendrick Lamar) is available everywhere on the 1989 Deluxe Edition," she concludes.
