Listen to Halsey’s Last Two Singles: “Lucky” and “Lonely is the Muse”
Halsey’s previous single “Lucky” smaples Britney Spears’ “Lucky” and Monica’s “Angel of Mine.” It takes a look at the not so glamorous side of fame.
“I’m so lucky, I’m a star/ But I cry, cry, cries in my lonely heart, thinking/ If there’s nothing missing in my life/ Then why do these tears come at night?”, Halsey songs.
“Lucky” sounds to build upon the promotional single, “The End,” that finds Halsey describing her private health challenges.
Twitter/X user, @dreamsandprose, shared a comprehensive thread on the “Lucky” single captioned: “to celebrate Lucky being out in some parts of the world here’s a comprehensive thread of the amazing marketing promo Halsey and her team did for the long awaited single!”
The music video is directed by Gia Coppola and details the sometimes misunderstood downsides of fame. Stream Lucky, produced by Michael Uzowuru, Rahm Silverglade, and Dylan Wiggins, below.
As a bonus, watch cheerleader Halsey in the “All Or Nothing!” video version.
On August 15, 2024, Halsey released “Lonely is the Muse.” A snippet was played at Budepest's Sziget Festival.
You’ll quickly notice that this song steps awa yfrom the Pop vibes of “Lucky” as it’s a Rocktrack with darker, grittier energy. Many have likened it to their work on the If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power album.
“I always knew I was a martyr and that Jesus was one too/ But I was built from special pieces that I learned how to unscrew/ And I can always reassemble to fit perfectly for you/ Or anybody that decides that I’m of use,” Halsey sings.

There is no official news on the release date or title for Halsey’s next album, but we await updates with all the fans.
