Doechii Collabs with JT for “Alter Ego”

The Florida artists link up for Doechii’s first release of 2024

Doechii is calling this Eurodance-inspired rap style on “Alter Ego” “editorial rap” and she connects with JT of City Girls to do it.

“I accidentally created my own genre with this one.. this record doesn’t sound like anything out right now,” Doechii said about her song. “I’m so excited for y’all to experience this song, this visual, and this ERA with me!”

“When they ask you, tell ’em it’s editorial rap: if hip hop and house music had a baby,” Doechii stated.
