Ancient Astronauts Release New Album 'ZiK ZAK'
Ancient Astronauts release their ZIK ZAK album, featuring some of the most talented musicians coming out of Africa. Members Kabanjak, born and based in Duisburg, Germany, and Dogu from Moers and currently based in Cologne, Germany, find inspiration in different musical expressions. The collaborative works of ZIK ZAK call to mind the likes of Thievery Corporation, Public Enemy, Wizkid, Damian Marley, and Kruder & Dorfmeister.
The pair have made quite a name for themselves on stage, but this body of work celebrates other great musicians. ZIK ZAK an intricate display of beats and rhythmic commentary of societal problems.
